Cornerstone Church are hosting this day for anyone who wants to have a go at singing, dancing, playing the ukulele, being part of a drum circle, or making musical instruments. We are providing free workshops that cover each of these skills. No prior experience is necessary. The idea is that what you learn in the workshop, you will be able to perform later that evening at a free concert to who you can invite friends and family. This will be followed by a drinks and nibbles reception.

All workshops are available for children of 1o years or over but under sixteens must have an adult accompanying them. The only exception to this is the Musical instrument Making Workshop which is geared towards 5-12 year olds.

TIMINGS:

Musical Instrument Making Workshop: 10am-12pm

Dance/Movement Workshop: 10am-12pm

Gospel Choir Workshop 1: 10am-12pm

Percussion Workshop: 2pm-4pm

Gospel Choir Workshop 2: 2pm-4pm (a repeat of workshop 1)

Ukulele Workshop: 2pm-4pm

Evening Concert: 7pm-9pm

The event will take place at Cornerstone Church, 149 Canterbury Road, London, E10 6EH.

Should you wish to stay for lunch, please bring a packed lunch with you. Food and drinks are not provided apart from drinks and nibbles after the concert.
