Cornerstone Church is a member of The East London Citizens Organisation (TELCO) which is a part of Citizens UK.
Our vicar Bill sits on the leadership team for Waltham Forest Citizens. This team is building a broad based alliance of institutions from the borough who work together using the tools of community organising to develop the leadership capacity of their people, to strengthen their organisations enabling them to deliver on their mission, and to act together for social justice and the common good.
This serves our mission in a number of ways. Cornerstone Church seeks to develop our people so that each one of us can walk into all that God has called us to. This, enables us to make a a positive impact in our community through building bridges across cultural barriers and shining the light of Jesus into heartfelt social problems while empowering the people to change things for the common good.
